Who we are
Notii (the app at app.notii.io, its apps, browser extension and plugins, and this website) is made by Pixel Worship, LLC ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Pixel Worship, LLC. Questions: matt@mourlam.com.
The privacy policy explains what we do with your information and is part of these terms.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Notii, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live (or have a parent's or guardian's permission).
- Give us a real email address and keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at matt@mourlam.com if you think someone else has got into it.
- One person per account. Don't share your account or make accounts automatically.
Your content
Your notes, files and everything else you put in Notii are yours. We don't claim ownership of them.
So that Notii can work, you give us permission to store, copy, process and show your content only as needed to run Notii for you: to save and sync it, search it, back it up, show it to the people you share it with, publish what you choose to publish, and run the features you use (for example, sending a note to our AI provider when you ask the AI about it). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups that are deleted on their normal schedule.
You're responsible for your content and for having the right to put it in Notii and to share or publish it.
What's not allowed
Don't use Notii to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- store or share content that sexually exploits children, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses, threatens or impersonates others;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- send spam, phishing or malware, including through shared notes, published websites, forms or webhooks;
- get into accounts, data or systems that aren't yours, probe or overload Notii, or get around its limits or security;
- copy, resell or rebuild Notii, or scrape it, except through the API and connectors we provide and within their limits.
We may remove content or published pages that break these rules, and suspend or close accounts that do.
The AI features
Notii's AI answers questions, writes and edits notes, makes summaries, recaps and meeting notes, and can make changes for you when you ask. It is run by a third-party AI provider (see the privacy policy).
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check it before you rely on it, and don't use it as professional (medical, legal, financial or similar) advice.
- You're responsible for how you use what the AI writes.
- Don't use the AI to create content this page doesn't allow.
Connected apps, the API and webhooks
You can connect Notii to other services: AI apps such as ChatGPT and Claude (through Notii's connector), your own scripts and tools (through a personal API token), and any web address (through webhooks). When you do, you're asking us to give that service access to your account or to send it your data, as you set it up. Those services are run by others under their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for what they do. You can disconnect an app, revoke a token or delete a webhook in Settings at any time.
Free, free for life, and fair use
Notii is free while it's new: every account has every feature, at no cost. We plan to offer paid plans (such as Pro and Team) later. They'll come with their own terms, and nothing you already have will start costing money without your agreement.
Free for life. An account created before midnight Pacific time at the end of November 13, 2026 (8:00 UTC on November 14, 2026) keeps everything in Notii's Free plan, at no cost, for as long as the account is open, even after paid plans arrive. That covers every feature an account has on the day paid plans start; features that are only in a paid plan may need that plan. It belongs to the account and can't be moved to another one, and it ends if the account is deleted or closed under these terms.
To keep Notii running well for everyone, accounts have fair-use limits (for example, AI requests a day, uploads a month and file sizes), shown in the app and in Help. We may change the limits, and we'll tell you before a change that takes away something you use.
Changes to Notii and to these terms
Notii changes as we improve it: features may be added, changed or removed. If we ever shut Notii down, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead so you can export your notes.
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Using Notii after a change means you accept the new terms.
Ending your account
You can stop using Notii and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Export your notes first if you want to keep them.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect Notii or other people. Where we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to export your content.
No warranties
We work hard to keep Notii running and your notes safe, but Notii is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Notii will always be available, free of errors, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important (Notii's export and weekly backups help).
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pixel Worship, LLC and the people who work on Notii won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of Notii, even if we were told they might happen. Our total liability for any claim about Notii is limited to US$100.
Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of content you put in Notii or your breach of these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about Notii or these terms will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
Before taking any formal step, please email us at matt@mourlam.com: most problems can be sorted out quickly.
The rest
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given it up. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them if Notii changes hands, and we'll tell you if that happens. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about Notii.
